Hi! I'm Colby, creator of Special Inspirations®.

 

I am an Associate Member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators, now called the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Teaching children with dyslexia is my passion and I use a structured, systematic, diagnostic, and prescriptive teaching approach. I have taught children with dyslexia since 2013 in a variety of settings that include the classroom and 1:1 Dyslexia Therapy tutorial. It was always difficult for me to find affordable resources for reading intervention. Therefore, I started creating resources to help make my own classroom dyslexia friendly!
